February 11, 2022: Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao pledged to enter national politics. He stated that the proposed electricity reforms would not be implemented in their State.
Telangana CM KSR claimed that he would play an essential role in national politics and break into the bastion of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi.
At Yashwantapur in Jangaon district in a massive rally on Friday, KCR said the people of Telangana would burst out if PM Modi attempted to play with their sentiment. He said this, stating Modi’s comment on the bifurcation of Andra Pradesh and Telangana.
On Tuesday, at Rajya Sabha, Modi said the bifurcation was “unscientific.” KCR said the people of Telangana had fought fiercely to achieve the status. He warned, “If anybody attempts to sabotage it, we shall see that he will have no address to survive.”
KCR told people, “The TRS emerged victorious in many battles. If you bless me and send me to national politics, I am ready to break into the Delhi fort.”
In the rally, he asked people whether he should play a decisive role in national politics, and as an answer, people cheered with a “yes.”
He claimed that the central government failed to fulfill their promises during the bifurcation, including the Railway coach factory and steel plant.
“We have adjusted ourselves with droplets of benefits we have got from the Centre out of the ocean. Yet, the NDA government is trying hard to create problems for us. We are not going to tolerate this anymore,” KCR said.
He asked the State’s people to stay together in support of farmers as the electricity reforms were entirely against the farmers.
What happens if KCR enters national politics? Will it make a difference?
