Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday held a gathering with the NDA partners of Uttar Pradesh regarding the upcoming UP assembly elections.
Post-meeting the Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to Twitter to post an image involving Apna Dal leader Anupriya Patel, Sanjay Nishad from Nishad Party, UP boss pastor Yogi Adityanath, BJP boss JP Nadda and others
“Had a meeting today with @JPNadda, @myogiadityanath and UP’s allies @AnupriyaSPatel and Sanjay Nishad.The blessings of individuals of Uttar Pradesh are with the NDA and under the leadership of PM @narendramodi, the NDA alliance will form the government with a thumping majority,” tweeted in Hindi.
Aparna Yadav joins BJP
Earlier during the day, Aparna Yadav, sister-in-law, of Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav joined BJP.
“I now want to try and do better for the country. I have always been very impressed by the schemes of the BJP and I will do my best in the party,” Aparna Yadav said.
The developments come after a series of defection of BJP MLA from the party to the Samajwadi party citing reason as under representation of OBC in BJP.
