BJP will contest from 65 seats out of 117 member Punjab assembly

BJP party head, JP Nadda, on Monday announced the seat-sharing between BJP, Punjab Lok Congress, SAD-Sanyukt. BJP announced it will contest from 65 seats, former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh’s Punjab Lok Congress in 37 seats & SAD Sanyukt on15 seats.

Bring Punjab back to track

BJP President JP Nadda said the security lapse during the PM visit, needs special attention. He also said security will be a very important issue in this election. He said the election will be about bringing safety, stability. He also said the motto of BJP in this election would be to abolish ‘mafia raj’ bring Punjab back on track of development.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has constituted SIT to probe the 1984 riots & today accused are in jails. We will abolish ‘Mafia Raj’ in Punjab,” he added.

The Party leader also added a photo of the alliance on Twitter.
