Telangana CM skips welcoming PM Narendra Modi in Hyderabad Airport.

PM Narendra Modi visited Hyderabad today to open the Statue of unity of Sri Ramanuja Acharya & the 50th anniversary of the International Crops Research Institute (ICRSAT).

The PM Narendra Modi was welcomed by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Union Minister for Tourism G. Kishan Reddy, and Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.

The Animal husbandry Ministry of Telangana said the State Chief Minister, KCR, is not well tested for COVID-19. A CMO statement also said Talasani Srinivasa Rao, Animal Husbandry Minister of Telangana, to accompany PM Narendra Modi & look after the arrangements.

In a press meet last week, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao described the Union budget floated last week as one with slogans of no value. Earlier last week, KCR said PM Narendra Modi is a person who dresses according to the state he visits and asks for uprooting BJP from the Union government & throwing it into the Bay of Bengal.

Telangana BJP lashed out against KCR for not following the protocols & receiving the Prime Minister & described the act as ‘shameful.’

Last month, Punjab CM skipped welcoming PM Narendra Modi during a visit to Punjab. Protestors blocked PM Narendra Modi’s vehicle in a bridge during the visit, which created a lot of criticism from BJP& the Home Ministry said it would conduct a thorough probe over the incident.
