The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, announced relaxations for schools, universities, restaurants, cinema halls following a reduction in the covid cases in the state.

Colleges & schools to reopen in West Bengal.

Addressing the media, the Chief Minister of West Bengal said colleges, universities & schools for classes from 8 to 12 would begin from February 3rd.

Private offices can now operate with 75% of the workforce. Local trains, metro, cinema halls, bars are allowed to increase their service capacity from 50% to 75%

Since covid cases have dropped, many states have started to reopen their schools. Earlier, Maharashtra also reopened its schools.
